The Hendersonville Historic Preservation Commission is launching a free Historic Preservation Training Series as part of the Neighborhood History Project, and you're invited!
Whether you're a neighborhood advocate, local history enthusiast, property owner, or simply curious about preserving our community's past, these workshops offer a chance to learn from preservation professionals and gain practical skills.
All sessions are FREE and open to the public! RSVPs are appreciated to help with planning.

Learn about the differences between National Register listing and local historic landmark designation, the benefits of designation, and the nomination process.
π Oral History & Community Archives

Explore best practices for conducting oral history interviews, preserving community stories, and creating archives that document local history for future generations.
πͺ§ Historic Markers, Exhibits & History Trails
Friday, October 30 | 1:00β2:30 p.m.
Discover how communities can share their history through interpretive markers, public exhibits, and history trails that educate residents and visitors alike.
