Working on an Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) isn’t always easy, but it can be life-changing. ACTT teams work directly with individuals facing serious mental health challenges, providing hands-on support, helping them navigate difficult situations, and empowering them to work toward recovery and greater independence.
This work takes patience, compassion, teamwork, and a willingness to meet people where they are. It also offers the opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a real difference in someone's life.

A New Chapter in Patient Care and Physician Training Is Coming to Western North Carolina
Blue Ridge Health is planning a major new medical facility that will expand patient care, strengthen the clinical and educational environment for family medicine residents, and allow room for future growth.
The new facility will also become home to the Hendersonville Family Medicine Residency Program, continuing a longstanding partnership among Blue Ridge Health, Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) , and UNC Health Pardee that brings together community-based care, medical education, and hospital-based training.
The facility will be built on recently acquired property on Whitted Street in Hendersonville, just minutes from UNC Health Pardee, an important location that will keep resident physicians close to the hospital for inpatient training while they continue providing community-based outpatient care through Blue Ridge Health.
