Fred maintains an ambitious, energetic, and positive attitude even on the most trying days. Working in security, he is often dealing with difficult situations, but he always handles every interaction with patience and keeps the safety of the patient and his fellow teammates as his first priority.

Meet Dr. John Kogoy, a board-certified general surgeon with Pardee Surgical Associates, and medical director of surgery and Pardee's newly-designated Level III Trauma Center.

His focus is on minimally-invasive surgeries and advanced techniques such as robotic-assisted procedures with Pardee's da Vinci surgical robot.

In his free time, he tries to enjoy the Western NC outdoors as much as possible, as well as spending time with family, running, playing guitar, and building guitar pedals.
