We had a wonderful time playing β€œI Trust My Resident”! 😁

Nursing, housekeeping, therapy, and activities staff all joined in the fun by trusting our residents to hit a cup off their heads with pool noodles. The residents had a fantastic time laughing and cheering as they took their turns. πŸ˜‚

It was heartwarming to see our staff and residents come together and have fun. Miss Honeycutt asked, β€œAre you sure we can do this?” I replied, β€œYes! It’s a fun game about us trusting you, just as you trust us to take care of you.”

She smiled and said, β€œOkay, then!” It was a wonderful reminder that trust goes both ways. ❀️

He entertained our residents for over an hour, bringing back wonderful memories of old songs, dancing, and good times. 🎸 Our residents and family members enjoyed Elvis’s favorite treat, banana pudding with cookies. 🍌πŸͺ Miss Rita loved Elvis so much that she even got up and danced with him!

Yesterday, our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Greenville Zoo! πŸ¦’πŸŒΏπŸ† Everyone had a memorable time exploring the zoo and seeing all of the amazing animals. Ms. Rita especially loved the baby cubs and couldn't get over how small and adorable they were. Ms. Linda was fascinated by the giraffes. She enjoyed seeing how long their necks are and wondered how long it must take them to swallow their food. Mr. Jerry loved every part of the trip and couldn't believe how large the zoo was. For lunch, everyone enjoyed some good old-fashioned zoo food, including hamburgers and hot dogs. While they were eating, a bright red cardinal stayed nearby the entire time. The residents believed it was Mr. Charles stopping by to join in the fun and keep a watchful eye over everyone, making the moment even more special and meaningful. ❀️

Happy Independence Day from Life Care Center of Hendersonville! β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™

We had an amazing time celebrating the 4th of July with our residents, staff, and family members. The day was filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories. We enjoyed a delicious cookout, played games, received patriotic temporary tattoos, and even built paper airplanes for a flying contest! ✈️ Congratulations to Miss Honeycutt, who won the airplane contest by flying her plane the farthest! After her victory, she jokingly told Dorothy Jeffery, Activity Director, that she should never fly a plane without any flying skills. πŸ˜‚ Everyone shared a good laugh!

♨️ The cookout was a big hit, especially with Mr. Brinkley, who enjoyed every bite β€” and then some! His son commented, "Dad, I have never seen you eat so well." Mr. Brinkley smiled and replied, "It was some good cookout food."

Miss Fischer and Miss Ashbrook had fun showing off their matching patriotic tattoos, adding even more smiles to the celebration. It was truly an amazing day filled with joy, laughter, and cherished memories. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this Independence Day so special. We hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸŽ†
