Dr. Amanda Onalaja-Underwood is a board-certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training in dermatopathology. She provides thoughtful, evidence-based care for patients across the full spectrum of medical dermatology, with a particular focus on accurate diagnosis, clear communication, and individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Onalaja-Underwood completed her dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she also served as Assistant Professor of Dermatology before pursuing subspecialty training in dermatopathology at The Ohio State University. Her unique background allows her to approach skin disease from both the clinical and microscopic perspective, giving patients the benefit of a deeper diagnostic understanding.

Known for her warm, attentive, and collaborative approach, Dr. Onalaja-Underwood is committed to making patients feel heard, respected, and confident in their care. She values patient education and takes time to explain diagnoses and treatment options in a clear and compassionate way.
