🇺🇸 FAMILY DAY FAVORITE RETURNS! 🇺🇸

Year after year, one of the most anticipated traditions of Masonic Family Day at MAHOVA is the Masonic Family Day Parade — and we’re looking forward to seeing the parade route filled once again!

It’s a colorful celebration of the incredible organizations, traditions and people that make up our Virginia Masonic Family and community. Shriners and their parade units, Eastern Star, Job’s Daughters, Grottoes International, Order of the Amaranth, DeMolay, Rainbow Girls, Royal Arch, Commandery, Scottish Rite, the roaring engines of Widows Sons, local JROTC groups and more will come together for a celebration of fellowship, heritage and community.

“Give me liberty, or give me death!”

This Masonic Family Day, experience one of the most powerful moments in Virginia—and American—history.

Join us at MAHOVA – Your Masonic Community on Saturday, October 3, as Historic St. John’s Church brings Patrick Henry’s legendary “Liberty or Death” speech to life.

Presented in period dress by the same organization that preserves the historic Richmond church where Henry delivered his famous words in 1775, this special presentation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the stage in front of the York Rite Building.

Noted Freemasons, George Washington, Peyton Randolph, Thomas Nelson, Jr., and Edmund Pendleton will be performing alongside Patrick Henry.

🎉 Congratulations to Mari Beavers, MAHOVA’s Ceca Award Honoree!

We are proud to celebrate Mari Beavers for receiving the Ceca Award, recognizing caregivers who demonstrate the qualities that make exceptional care possible: empathy, humor, integrity, professionalism, and teamwork.

What makes this recognition especially meaningful is that Ceca Award nominations come from fellow caregivers who take the time to recognize a co-worker for providing exceptional care to residents. Honorees are then selected by a panel representing Ceca, MAHOVA leadership, and our resident and family community.

Mari’s recognition reflects not only the quality of her work, but also the respect she has earned from those who work alongside her and the positive difference she makes in the lives of our residents.
