Louise Cheatwood

Stella Louise Cheatwood passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, in Okmulgee at the age of 84. She was born on February 17, 1942, in Quinton, Oklahoma, to Clifford C. Gulley and Dessie Gulley Beard.

Louise dedicated her career to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She was a kind and compassionate woman who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She enjoyed painting landscapes, sewing and tending to her plants. She also loved fishing, traveling and making memories with family and friends.

More than anything, Louise cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose love and kindness touched many lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Carol Jean Crosby; her brother, Billy Joe Gulley; and her brothers-in-law, Billy Teafatiller and Davy Duke.

Louise is survived by her son, Curtis Dale Crosby and wife Julie of Hitchita; her daughter, Beverly Diane Crosby Dudley of Hitchita; her grandchildren, Danny Crosby, Derrick Crosby and wife Amber, Adam Rempe and wife Tori; her great-grandchildren, Lily Nicole Crosby, Shae Crosby, Ayden Luther, Tyler Rempe, and Hannah Rempe; her great-great-grandson, Tobias Negrete; her sisters, Barbara Teafatiller and Kay Duke; as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Viewing will be from 3-5 PM on Sunday, June 21, 2026, at Integrity Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Integrity Chapel with Wesley VanMeter officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain Home Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Louise's honor.

Louise will be remembered for her caring heart, creative spirit, love of family, and the many lives she touched throughout her years. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Bobby Ray McGee Sr

Bobby Ray McGee, Sr., a resident of Henryetta, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. He was born November 1, 1949, in Stidham, Oklahoma, to Earl and Lizzie McGee.

On January 10, 1970, Bobby married the love of his life, Kathy Newton. Together they shared more than 56 years of marriage and built a family that became the center of his world.

He was a hard working farmer and backhoe operator.

Bobby loved fishing, spending time outdoors, and tending to his cattle. He enjoyed life to the fullest and was known for his sense of humor. A natural jokester and big cut-up, he never missed an opportunity to make others laugh. More than anything, Bobby cherished his children and grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride throughout his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lizzie McGee; brothers, Roy McGee, Harold McGee, and Billy McGee; sister, Mildred Watson; and grandson, Bradley McGee, Jr.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife, Kathy McGee of the home; sons, Bobby Ray McGee, Jr. and Bradley Ryan McGee and wife Joanie; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters, Dean Carter, Faye Neal, and Jean Skaggs; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will dearly miss him.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow at New Sonora Cemetery.

Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Jacob Mitchell Velez

Jacob Mitchell Velez, 28, beloved Son, Brother, Grandson and Nephew passed away June 13, 2026 in Okmulgee, OK. He was born Monday, July 14, 1997 in Okmulgee, OK to Nathanial Velez and Mable "Sunny" Williams. Jacob had a kind heart and enjoyed music, collecting Pokémon cards, building Gundam Figures by hand and going to shows with his brothers. Every year, Jacob and his brother Abraham would travel to Los Angeles for a festival back-to-back.

Jacob accepted the Lord and was baptized in the year 2010 by his Papa, Pastor Willie Randall at Grave Creek Indian Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sunny Williams; great-aunt Anita "Sue-Sue" Powell; great-uncles, Rick "Bubba" Powell and Rusty Powell.



Jacob is survived by his father Nathaniel Velez of Oklahoma City, OK; Maternal grandmother Peggy (Edwin) McLemore of Preston, OK; Maternal grandfather Hershel "Dale" Williams of Anadarko, OK; Paternal grandmother Adalia (Angel) Moreno of Oklahoma City, OK; brothers Abraham (Juliana) Williams of Oklahoma City, OK; Blake, Gary and Sage Wise of Preston, OK. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Kyra Najara, a step-son Xander Logan as well as a host of relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Marvin Phillips Jr., Cordell Burris, S.J. McLemore, Jack Eslick, Joshua Whitecloud and Jed Kitchkommie.

Honorary Pallbearers are Thunder Whitecloud, Topley Powell, Rowdy Osceola, Marley Lowe, Darius Lowe, Jared Bigbear and Nicco James.

Wake services are scheduled for 7PM on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Gravecreek Indian Baptist Church in Hitchita, Oklahoma.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2PM, Thursday, June 18, 2026 at Gravecreek Indian Baptist Church with Pastor Mitchell Taylor, officiating.

Interment will follow at Grave Creek Church Cemetery.
