Remona Ann Withrow

Remona Ann Withrow, 82, of Dewar, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on September 30, 2026. She was born on November 11, 1943, in Schulter, Oklahoma, to Homer Alfred Reed and Bonnie Lee (Brison) Reed.

Remona "Mo" was a homemaker and had made her home in Dewar for 54 years. She was a member of Wilson Baptist Church. She and her husband, Troy Don Withrow, were married in Miami, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Bonnie Reed; her sons, James Allen Reed and Jerry Withrow; her sister, Betty Stewart; and her brothers, Tommy Reed and Danny Reed.

Remona is survived by her husband, Troy Don Withrow, of Dewar; her son, Joe Withrow, and daughter-in-law, Patricia Withrow, of Dewar; her grandson, Colton Withrow, of Dewar; her granddaughter, Jessica Withrow, of Bartlesville; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2026, at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Integrity Chapel with Ryan Wells officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma, under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Johnson, Rusty Johnson, Colton Withrow, Roy Stewart, and Coy Stewart.

Jim Wheeler

William James "Jim" Wheeler, a lifelong resident of the Henryetta area, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2026, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 76. He was born July 29, 1950, in Martha, Oklahoma, to William Fred Wheeler and Mary Frances (Barnes) Wheeler.

Jim made his home in the Pleasant Valley community with his family. He married Donna Marie Donathan on June 24, 1981, at Henryetta First Baptist Church, and together they shared 45 years of marriage.

A member of Dewar First Baptist Church, Jim faithfully served by driving the church bus and greeting others with warmth. Vacation Bible School held a special place in his heart, giving him the opportunity to visit with the children as he drove them to and from church. To the children who knew him, he was affectionately known as "Poppy."

Jim served the community as a firefighter with the Henryetta Fire Department for nine years. Always willing to work hard, he also took on hauling as a side job to make extra income. During the 1970s and 1980s, he drove trucks delivering native stone throughout much of northeastern Oklahoma. Driving remained a lifelong passion, and he often joked, "I have backed more miles than you have even driven."

Above all, Poppy's heart belonged to his family. He treasured the time he spent with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed gathering with friends for the weekly "table of knowledge" at Shoney's, sharing conversation and companionship.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

He is survived by his wife, Donna, of the home; his children, Brandon Wheeler and wife Carlie of Henryetta, Brett Wheeler and wife Billie Jean of Coweta, Jayme Matlock and husband Patrick of Henryetta, Dean Wright and wife Ruby, and Brandon Wright and wife Rebecca; eleven grandsons and four granddaughters; his sisters, Ramona Mathis of Florida, wife of the late Don Mathis, and Brenda Wheeler of Oklahoma City; his brother, Kevin "Nugget" Wheeler; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be held Monday, October 5, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Dewar First Baptist Church, with Rev. Brett Wheeler and Rev. Ryan Wells officiating.

Services and cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service.

STAFF HIGHLIGHT: Maddie Holuby 🤍

At Integrity Funeral Service, family is at the heart of what we do. Maddie is my eldest daughter and a licensed funeral director, and I’m proud to work alongside her as she helps families through some of life’s hardest days.

Maddie is a citizen of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. At home, she and her husband, Shane, are raising their two children, Ezra and WhitLee. She loves books, church, and spending time with her family.

What I admire most is the care she gives each family who walks through our doors. Maddie listens, pays attention to the details, and wants every person we serve to feel supported and honored.
