A rare sight and one of our favorites!

Our Warmline team spends their days (and nights) supporting the mental health and well-being of others, often from miles apart. They recently had the opportunity to get together in person for a day of self-care and professional growth...and of course, we had to document it.

Because the people who care for others deserve care too 🩵

Ghosts have been reported in Gilliam and Wheeler counties.

They appear friendly, professional, and strangely dedicated to behavioral health services.

When many people hear the word "stimulant," they think of illegal drugs. But stimulants can also include substances many of us encounter every day, such as caffeine, ni****ne, and prescribed medications.

Like all substances, stimulants affect the body and brain in different ways and can carry risks when misused.

Knowledge is one of the best prevention tools we have.

During Substance Use & Misuse Prevention Month, we're sharing information about substances commonly used in our communities, including cannabis.

While cannabis is legal for adults in Oregon, it's still important to understand how it can affect the brain, lungs, coordination, memory, and learning, especially for young people.

The CCS crew out and about? You bet. 💚

Earlier this week, our team joined other local organizations at the 4th Annual Service Organization Fair in Hermiston to share resources and talk about the services available in our communities.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and chatted with us!

Pop quiz and giveaway time! 🥳

Our brains release a certain chemical when we do things we enjoy, like exercising, spending time with friends, listening to music, or enjoying our favorite coffee.

What's the chemical called?

And while you're here, tell us: What's YOUR go-to feel-good activity?

One commenter (with both answers) will receive a $25 gift card to the coffee shop of their choice! ☕💜

The annual "be organized enough to wear our 988 shirts on the same day and make the social media girl happy" photos have arrived. 💜📸

Some staff gave strong JCPenney portrait energy. Others recruited their furry friends for support. One even hard-launched the newest member of the CCS family (honestly, that's overachieving).

But in all seriousness, thank you to CCS staff across Eastern Oregon for supporting Su***de Prevention Month and helping spread awareness in your communities.

What a pleasure it is to be part of a team that shows up for each other and for the people we serve.

Love shouldn't hurt.

Domestic violence is more than physical violence. It can also include emotional abuse, threats and intimidation, financial control, isolation, and other behaviors used to gain power and control over another person.

This month, we join communities across the country in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and reminding those affected that help is available.
