Emotion regulation is the ability to understand and manage your emotions so you can respond to situations in a healthy way. We see a lot of people handling their emotions in an unhealthy way.

It is ok to feel. It is ok to be vulnerable. It’s an act of strength not weakness. Reframe that thought, if that is what you think. Reframe it to this - I am strong for feeling my feelings and letting them be known. Do you not know you are ignoring yourself as if you don’t matter? The truth is YOU do matter.

Issues of Life Inc. offers a free 12-week Trauma Recovery & Healing Program consisted of trauma-informed counseling for children, adolescents, single parents, and emerging adults who have experienced trauma, violence, abuse, neglect, grief, or loss. Their office hours are 5 to 7 pm Monday to Thursday and some Saturdays. They only have a set number of clients for this free program. Book your appointment as soon as you can. Issues of Life Inc.

It felt nice to be out with other like minded business professionals. I am one who prefers to be in the house. My want to have a community and introvert side have real talk moments. I know God didn’t create me to be isolated. My prayer is I get more comfortable being uncomfortable until I am no longer uncomfortable.
