This weekend, while you enjoy the summer weather and celebrations with loved ones (like my husband and I did!) take a moment to pause and honor the individuals who lost their lives in service to our country.

We may not always agree with the direction our country is going, or in all of its leaders, but we can recognize the loss of our service members and first responders who fought to allow us the right to voice our disagreement.

Simply put, pleasure activism stands by the belief that every single person deserves pleasure in their life-sexual and otherwise! Pleasure is unique to the individual and everyone has the right to find what works for them.

Sexual, relational/attachment or religious trauma often restrict our access to pleasure within our bodies. Using body based treatment methods can help to create a sense of safety in the body and make space to explore what feels good for us.
