After major weight loss, the skin doesn’t just deflate in the front. It goes all the way around, love handles, butt and outer thighs included. That’s why for this patient we did a lower body lift, with an incision that goes 360 degrees so I could contour his whole midsection and lift the areas a tummy tuck can’t reach.

An internal bra isn't something I recommend for every patient.

I use this absorbable mesh mainly in revisional breast surgery, especially when there's a lot of loose skin or the implant is large for the body it's going into. It helps reform the pocket and holds the implant exactly where I place it at surgery.

A guarantee of a "complicated, free result" is a red flag. So is a surgeon who won't walk you through scars, recovery, and trade offs.
