On Friday, August 28th, our VP of Business Development, Randy Wilson, joined a Virginia Mental Health Access Program (VMAP) community resource networking event in partnership with Children's Hospital of The King's Daughter (CHKD).

The event brought hospital professionals and community providers together to learn more about resources across Hampton Roads and discuss how we can make it easier for children and families to find the right support.

VMAP helps connect medical providers with consultation, education, care navigation, and community-based services. Events like this give organizations an opportunity to understand what is available, share the work they do, and build relationships that can create clearer paths to care.

Thank you, Randy, for representing Autism FIRST and continuing to strengthen partnerships across the region.

A good training day is about more than sharing information. It’s about making space for questions, conversation, and ideas people can carry back to their work.

Jenny A., MA, CCC-SLP, BCBA, LBA, recently led an ABA training for TAP Head Start in Roanoke, sharing her knowledge and real-world experience with professionals who support children every day.

Jenny, thank you for continuing to lead through education and for sharing your expertise in such a practical, thoughtful way.

We also want to thank our Roanoke Clinic Manager, Ly’Ric B., for being there and help capture moments from the day. That kind of behind-the-scenes support means a great deal.
