💙 GRIEF CHANGED ME, BUT IT DIDN’T DESTROY ME.
💙 Today, on 9-“3”-2026 👌🏽🤟🏽—I share my heart & grief journey of 8 Years-“New Beginnings”
Losing my son, AP3, changed my life forever. Grief is not something we simply “get over.” It is something we learn to adapt to—learning how to carry the love, the memories, the questions, and the pain while continuing to live with purpose.
Some days, grief feels heavy. Some days, the memories bring tears. And some days, I can smile because I am grateful that God allowed me to experience the love of my son.
I’ve learned that healing doesn’t mean forgetting. Moving forward doesn’t mean leaving him behind. It means learning to live differently while carrying his memory and allowing God to transform my pain into purpose.
My hope is not found in the absence of grief.
My hope is found in Christ. 🙏🏽
When everything around me feels uncertain, Jesus remains my anchor. ⚓️
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast…” — Hebrews 6:19 NKJV
AP3 will always be a part of my story. His life, his legacy, and the love I carry for him continue to remind me that even through unimaginable loss, God can sustain us, strengthen us, and give us hope.
I may grieve because I loved deeply.
I may hurt because he mattered deeply.
But I will hope because Christ is faithful.
