In honor of American Pharmacists Month, we’re celebrating the incredible staff who work hard each and every day to provide the special level of care our patients deserve.
Today, we celebrate Erin Haas, CPhT!
Erin brings a diverse background in healthcare to our team, including her experience working as an EMT and it really shows! On certain days when the rest of us might be scurrying around wondering how we’re possibly going to get it all done, Erin somehow stays calm, keeps moving, and makes it happen. And, of course, she does it all with that signature dry sense of humor that keeps the rest of us laughing along the way.
Erin may seem quiet at first...but just wait until you really stop and listen! Behind that calm demeanor is someone who notices more than you might realize, cares deeply for the people around her, and is always ready to help. Whether she’s caring for her family, our patients, or her coworkers, Erin brings a steady presence to our pharmacy family that we appreciate more than she will ever know.
And this is definitely Erin’s time of year! She loves all things fall, with Halloween holding an extra-special place at the top of the list.
Erin, thank you for ALL you do! Thank you for keeping your cool when the rest of us might be losing ours, for making us laugh, and most importantly, for the care you give our patients and our team. We’re so thankful you’re part of our pharmacy family!

In honor of American Pharmacists Month, we’re celebrating the incredible staff who work hard each and every day to provide the special level of care our patients deserve.
Today, we celebrate Miranda Smith, CPhT!
Miranda brings a unique understanding and compassion to the patients she cares for. With her past experience working in a nursing home herself, she understands firsthand the needs of the teams caring for the patients as well. She works hard behind the scenes to make sure medications are handled with care, details don’t get missed, and both our patients and their caregivers have the support they need.
Outside of the pharmacy, Miranda’s family means the world to her. She loves spending time with her boys and is excited to welcome another little boy to the family! And if you know Miranda, you know there are few things she loves more than football and fall. (She’s been wishing for fall since last spring lol!)
Miranda, your caring nature, hard work, and dedication to our patients and the people who care for them make such a difference. Thank you for ALL you do! We’re so thankful you’re part of our pharmacy family!

In honor of American Pharmacists Month, we’re celebrating the incredible staff who work hard each and every day to provide the special level of care our patients deserve.
Today, we celebrate Rebecca Charlsen!
Rebecca pours her heart into everything she does. Her family, friends, neighbors, patients, and coworkers all know they can count on her to show up, give 100%, and somehow keep everything organized along the way! She brings an incredible amount of energy, dedication, and care to the people around her. Rebecca is such a blessing to us all!
Outside of the pharmacy, Rebecca stays just as busy! She and her husband, Patrick, spend lots of time cheering on their two daughters and helping coach their sports teams. She never misses a family event, loves traveling with her mom, and is always ready for the next adventure.
Rebecca, the care and commitment you give so freely to the people around you does not go unnoticed. Thank you for ALL you do and for always giving us your very best!We don’t know how you do it all! Hopefully you get a nap once in a while (those are her favorite). We’re so thankful you’re part of our pharmacy family!

In honor of American Pharmacists Month, we’re celebrating the incredible staff who work hard each and every day to provide the special level of care our patients deserve.
Today, we celebrate Paige Williams-Schroeder!
Paige has her BS in Chemistry and her MBA, but her real talent is the way she cares for our patients. She loves greeting patients as they walk through the door and working with patients, families, and providers to make sure everyone feels cared for and supported.
Paige also recently completed her Community Health Worker (CHW) training. She spent hours learning about local resources and services so Harvey Drug Abilene can be a hub of helpfulness for anyone in our community who needs a little extra support.
When she’s not at Harvey Drug, Paige loves spending time with her husband, Taylor, reading, and hanging out with friends and family.
Thank you for ALL you do, Paige! We’re so thankful to have you as part of our pharmacy family!

Today, we celebrate Abbie Hoefling!
Abbie brings an extensive background in healthcare, combining her expertise with her joyful spirit to make sure our patients know they are truly cared for. Her positivity and enthusiasm are felt by patients and coworkers alike!
Thank you for being our #1 cheerleader, Abbie, and for all you do for our patients and our team!
p.s. We’re sorry if some of us forget to wear red on Fridays! (Abbie loves her Chiefs!)

HHS will host a community Homecoming Pep Rally on Friday, October 2, at 2:40 p.m. at Hobbs Stadium. Community members are welcome to come watch and cheer on our Swathers! Students will be seated in the stands, so seating may be limited. Community members are welcome to bring a chair.

What a wonderful way to kick off American Pharmacists Month by celebrating our very own Courtney Johnson, PharmD! Courtney was chosen by the Kansas Pharmacists Association as the winner of the 2026 Excellence in Innovation Award. Courtney loves finding new ways to care for our patients. She teaches Diabetes Education classes, hosts vaccine clinics and works with many local and national innovative projects to help our patients in new and innovative ways. Thank you for ALL you do, Courtney! We are so proud of you!!!
