Not sure if Dr. Osler really said this, but if he didn’t, he should have. If he did, we should all listen.

All medications are poisons. You just have to decide if the side effects are worse than what you are treating. Sometimes we need medication, often we don’t. Being on 25 meds is not a badge of honor.

A peer-reviewed study published in the journal Preventive Medicine Reports by researchers at the University of Kentucky’s College of Public Health found that the opening of medical cannabis dispensaries was associated with a 15.47 percent reduction in non-fatal opioid overdoses per 100,000 enrollees per quarter

The clarified list encompasses all 21 conditions outlined in the Governor’s original 2022 executive order: cancer, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease), epilepsy, intractable seizures, Parkinson’s disease, Crohn’s disease, multiple sclerosis, sickle cell anemia, severe and chronic pain, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), cachexia or wasting syndrome, neuropathies, severe arthritis, Hepatitis C, fibromyalgia, intractable pain, muscular dystrophy, Huntington’s disease, HIV/AIDS, glaucoma, and terminal illness.
