National Skilled Nursing Care Week ( Moments in Bloom) has come to an end. We would like to thank everyone who had a hand in making this week such a great success. We couldn't do this without our wonderful volunteers as well as many additional team members who helped transport residents back and forth from all the activities. We featured a Gratitude wall were many of our residents, staff and family wrote kinds words. Our kick-off started with a cookout ( thanks to our dietary staff for the great food), featuring live entertainment, face painting, bouncy house for the kids, classic cars and a few farm animals. Each day held a variety of activities from animal encounters, music performances, food demonstrations as well as some sweet treats. We finished the week by honoring our local firemen and police as well as hosting a concert from Elvis.
