Current and New Patients with United Healthcare Medicare Advantage Plans HMO and HMO-POS. (ex. AARP Medicare Advantage, UHC Dual Complete, UHC Complete Care). Starting Jan. 1, 2026, Your plan now requires your P*P (PrimaryCarePhysician) to submit an electronic referral on the UHC website for each of your specialist providers, even if you are a current patient at their office. Please make sure your UHC plan has your correct Primary Care Provider attached to you. Your P*P office will need to fax the referral confirmation page to your specialist. This page has information such as the referral number, dates approved or number of visits approved un that referral number. Our staff will assist with contacting your P*P but your help is greatly appreciated.

Please remember our office is Closed on Fridays. Our office will reopen after closures on the following Monday at 8:00am.

We hope all of our patients are safe and our thoughts are with you!
The office will be open tomorrow Monday 9/30. We have power but no internet and our regular phones are down. We will have them rerouted for tomorrow but you will have to leave detailed messages and wait for a return call. Please know we will have limited staff and returning calls will take longer. And our calls will be coming from blocked numbers.

Flu shots are available at many physician offices and pharmacies throughout the community. For people who do not have a medical provider or who wish to obtain a shot at Public Health, appointments in our Immunization clinic can be made by calling (828) 695-5881. Flu shots are available for individuals age 6 months and older.
