🌟 Holiday Closure Notice – Juneteenth 🌟

In observance of Juneteenth National Independence Day, The Cognitive Connection will be closed tomorrow, Friday, June 19, 2026. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 8:00 AM.

While our offices will be closed, Holiday IOP and SACOT groups will still be held tomorrow from 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM.

Juneteenth is a time to reflect on freedom, honor resilience, and celebrate the ongoing journey toward equality and unity. ❤️💛💚🖤

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed on Monday, May 25th, and will reopen with normal business hours on Tuesday, May 26th. We will offer a SACOT & IOP holiday group on Monday from 9:00am–1:00pm.

As we spend time with family and friends this holiday weekend, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their service and sacrifice will never be forgotten. ❤️🤍💙

We were honored to be part of the 2026 Burke County Annual Recovery Summit today!

It is an incredible opportunity to connect with community partners, share resources, and continue important conversations surrounding prevention, treatment, recovery, and hope throughout Burke County.

Recovery happens through connection, compassion, and community…and we are proud to stand alongside so many amazing organizations making a difference every day.

Our staff had an amazing time at the APNC Spring Conference!

We’re incredibly proud of our Peer Support Specialists who attended and represented our team so well. Opportunities like this allow us to continue learning, growing, and bringing back valuable knowledge to better serve our community.

And to top it off…they even had the opportunity to meet Christian Slater! What an awesome experience!

Today is the day … our Food Drive officially starts! 🎉

Our pantry is currently looking a little lonely, so for the entire month of April we’re collecting canned and non-perishable food items to help fill it up and support individuals in our community who may need a little extra help. Let’s see how full we can get it!

Items Needed:

Canned and dried foods
Manual can openers
Nutritious snacks

If you’re out shopping and a can of soup, a box of oatmeal, or some snacks accidentally fall into your cart… we promise we won’t question it. Tell your friends, family, neighbors, coworkers, and even your pets (if they’re good at carrying cans) to help out too. The more the merrier! Donations can be dropped off anytime during the month of April at:
