FryeCare Physicians Network is offering FREE sports physicals to help students prepare for the upcoming season and meet school requirements. Supporting young athletes is one more way we’re living our mission of making communities healthier.

To help ensure a smooth experience, priority time slots have been reserved specifically for student-athletes from schools that Frye has an established partnership. The schedule is as follows:

🔷 8:30-9:15 a.m. – Hickory High School and Grandview Middle School
🔷9:15-10 a.m. – Hickory Christian Academy and Northview Middle School
🔷10-10:45 a.m. – Fred T. Foard High School and Jacobs Fork Middle School
🔷10:30-noon – Walk in exams open to all area student-athletes

From the soccer field to the basketball court, student-athletes need to be ready before the season begins – and FryeCare Physicians Network is here to help.

For Joel Whitford and his family, FryeCare’s annual sports physical event has become an important part of preparing for each school year.

“It has been very beneficial and convenient for our family. Sports start quickly once school begins so being able to get everything done early gives us peace of mind.”

Joel’s daughter, Kara, a sophomore at Hickory Christian Academy, participates in soccer, basketball, tennis and snowboarding. This soccer season alone, she scored an impressive 36 goals.

The Whitford family says their connection to FryeCare Physicians Network began through Nick Seiler, MA, LAT, ATC, Regional Manager of Sports Medicine and Community Outreach, who has supported both Kara and her older brother, Braden, through years of sports participation and injuries.

“Nick has been amazing. The care and attention he gives these kids off the field is really what attracted us to the event.”

FryeCare Physicians Network is committed to supporting local student-athletes and families through accessible care and community partnerships.
