Last week, ALFA leadership had the opportunity to participate in the Dogwood Health Trust Annual Convening, joining inspiring individuals and organizations committed to creating meaningful, transformational change throughout Western North Carolina.
Guided by the theme Building Steady Hope, the convening was a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships, exchange ideas, deepen our understanding of funding priorities, and reflect on how collaboration can create lasting impact in our communities.
At ALFA, we believe meaningful progress happens when organizations come together around a shared vision, build trust, and work collectively toward a healthier, stronger, and more equitable future.

ALFA Housing Director Jess Jones attended the Texas Conference for Women this past weekend in Austin, Texas.

The conference brought together thousands of women for a day focused on leadership, professional development, networking, and inspiration. Jess had the opportunity to hear from inspiring speakers and connect with other women leaders from across the country.

At ALFA, we believe in continuing to learn, grow, and bring new perspectives back to the work we do every day.

Today, ALFA CEO Liz Rose is attending the Recovery Alliance Initiative (RAI) Summit in Raleigh.

The Summit brings together leaders, advocates, and community partners to connect, share ideas, and strengthen recovery efforts.

In September, 263 overdose reversal kits were distributed along with 21 reported overdose reversals
