"As Program Director at Foundations Health High Point, I have the privilege of witnessing the strength, resilience and courage of individuals who choose recovery every day. Overdose Awareness is deeply personal for many of us, because it represents lives lost, families impacted and the urgent need for compassion and action. Substance use disorder does not discriminate. It affects people from all walks of life and is a medical condition that deserves treatment, support and understanding. By working together to reduce stigma and increase access to care, we can create pathways to recovery and save lives. Today, I encourage our community to remember those we have lost, support those who are struggling and celebrate those who continue their recovery journey. Recovery is possible, hope is real and no one should have to face addiction alone.
If you or someone you know is struggling with opioid use disorder or substance use, I encourage you to reach out to Foundations Health High Point. Taking the first step can be difficult, but it can also be life changing. Our team is here to provide compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment.
Together, we can break the stigma, increase awareness and save lives. Because every life matters. Every recovery matters. Every day is an opportunity for hope. Learn more about our opioid treatment programs by clicking the link in our bio." - Melissa Goyen
