Providence Place is a faith-based, nonprofit retirement community in High Point, NC, that's been serving seniors since the early 1970s.

We offer independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory support. Providence Place has dedicated itself to senior healthcare and housing in High Point and the Triad. We have grown to include a large campus on Westchester Drive, home to our Independent Living (Westchester Village), Assisted Living (The Harbour) and Skilled Nursing (Westchester Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center) facilities, as well as the Providence Place Administrative offices. Our outreach stretches beyond High Point and into the community at large because ministering to the health and well-being of our elder population has no geographical bias.

🎃📚 A special fall visit brought plenty of smiles to Providence Place Assisted Living! We were delighted to welcome the kindergarten students from Liberty Charter Academy, along with their teachers and parents, for a morning of fun and connection.

Together, residents and students enjoyed a festive craft, sang cheerful pumpkin-themed songs, and gathered for story time. Moments like these remind us of the joy that comes from bringing generations together and creating meaningful memories along the way. 🍂🧡

❤️🎨 There’s something special about the friendships that blossom across generations.

Residents in Assisted Living always look forward to visits from the students of Westchester Country Day School, and this latest gathering was no exception! Together, they spent the afternoon sharing stories, laughter, and creativity while working on arts and crafts side by side.

Intergenerational programs like these are so valuable. They help foster meaningful connections, reduce social isolation, encourage learning from one another, and bring joy to both young and old alike. The smiles shared during these visits are a beautiful reminder that friendship has no age limit.

Thank you to the students and staff of Westchester Country Day School for brightening our day. We can't wait for your next visit! 💙✨

🎃🍂 Fall fun was in full swing as residents from Assisted Living enjoyed a trip to Victory Mountain Pumpkin Patch!

From exploring rows of pumpkins to taking in the beauty of the season, the outing was filled with fresh air, laughter, and plenty of autumn memories. Residents enjoyed spending time together, soaking up the festive atmosphere, and finding the perfect pumpkins along the way.

It's outings like these that make this season so special. We love creating opportunities for our residents to get out, connect with friends, and enjoy all the simple joys that fall has to offer! 🎃🧡🍁

Our residents recently enjoyed a special outing to the Guilford County Veterans Memorial, where they were honored to receive a guided tour from retired veteran Lt. Col. Susan Danielsen. Her insights and personal connection to the memorial brought the stories of service and sacrifice to life, creating a truly memorable experience.

During the visit, residents also learned how individuals and families can honor veterans and loved ones through commemorative bricks at the memorial, whether they live within Guilford County or beyond.

We are grateful for the opportunity to reflect on the courage, dedication, and legacy of those who have served our country. Thank you, Lt. Col. Danielsen, for sharing your knowledge and helping make this visit so meaningful for our residents. ❤️🤍💙

🏐💙 Game on! Our residents in Assisted Living recently brought their competitive spirit and plenty of smiles to a lively game of chair volleyball!

From impressive volleys to lots of laughter, everyone had a great time staying active, building friendships, and cheering each other on. Activities like chair volleyball are a fun way to promote movement, coordination, and social connection while creating memories together.

Way to go, everyone! We love seeing our residents serve up fun and make every day an active one at Providence Place. 😊👏
