Providence Place

Providence Place Providence Place is a faith-based, nonprofit retirement community in High Point, NC, that's been serving seniors since the early 1970s.

We offer independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory support. Providence Place has dedicated itself to senior healthcare and housing in High Point and the Triad. We have grown to include a large campus on Westchester Drive, home to our Independent Living (Westchester Village), Assisted Living (The Harbour) and Skilled Nursing (Westchester Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center

) facilities, as well as the Providence Place Administrative offices. Our outreach stretches beyond High Point and into the community at large because ministering to the health and well-being of our elder population has no geographical bias.

📸☀️ Throwback Thursday! ☀️📸

We're looking back at the fun and friendly competition of the Summer Senior Games, hosted by Trinity Rehab! Residents put their skills to the test and had a blast participating in a variety of activities, including chair volleyball, soccer, ring toss, bean bag toss, and even axe throwing.

The day was filled with laughter, teamwork, encouragement, and plenty of healthy competition. A special thank you to Trinity Rehab for organizing such a memorable event and helping our residents stay active, engaged, and having fun!

Our residents helped make sure the youth choir of Abbotts Creek Missionary Baptist Church is ready for a successful school year! 🎒📚

Thanks to the generosity of our residents, staff, and staff family members at Westchester Manor, our Assisted Living Community at Providence Place, an amazing collection of back-to-school supplies was gathered and donated to support these students.

💪 Happy Labor Day! As we mark the unofficial end of summer, we also honor the work and contributions laborers have made to the development and achievements of the United States. Thanks to them, we have safer, healthier, and better balanced working conditions.

There are some visitors who never fail to bring smiles, and Beau the Therapy Dog is definitely one of them!

Providence Place residents recently enjoyed a special visit from Beau, whose wagging tail, gentle spirit, and loving personality brightened everyone's day. From extra pets and cuddles to sweet conversations and plenty of smiles, Beau had a way of making each resident feel special.

Animal visits provide more than just fun. They create meaningful connections, encourage social engagement, and bring comfort and joy to those they meet. Judging by the happy faces around the room, Beau's visit was a tremendous success!

☕🎉 You're never too old to embrace technology!

Last week, 83-year-old Carolyn spotted a 7 Brew Coffee coffee promotion on Facebook and entered Providence Place for a chance to win. Thanks to her initiative, our community received 30 delicious drinks, including lemonades, Blondies, Brunettes, and sugar-free coffee options!
