* THE BEST DECISION FOR ME*

Hello 👋 Facebook Clients, Family and Friends. I have known for two weeks now but could not come up with the words to express how Im feeling. I decided to have a bilateral/double mastectomy to help save my life. I was diagnosed with Her2 triple negative cancer, stage 3 with cancer traveling to lympnode glands in the left arm pit as well. I know there is always a possibility the cancer can return but so far the prognosis is looking good but I still have a long road ahead of me with continued treatment with the KEYTRUDA, radiation treatments after surgery and auto immune therapy for another 7 to 9 months, I have been feeling a world wind of emotions, fear, anger, depression, happiness etc.... I never thought I could feel these emotions all at one time. Its not too much thats scares me this was one of them that terrified me and in a way still is (Fear) of the unknown.
They decided to keep me over night for monitoring and if all goes well I can come home today. I Thank GOD for my clients, Family and circle of friends who have gave monetary donations, phone calls/text messages, cards in the mail,cooked casserole dishes, brought me mastectomy equipment such as mastectomy pillows, sponge wipes, lymphatic compression sleeves, alcohol whipes, socks, food deliveries and a plethora of other needs. I can not Thankyou enough for all the Love and Support! I will continue t o keep you updated. If I missed a text or forgot to return your call please blame my mind and not my heart, know that I love you all. Nina K. Cobb

In this episode, I sit down with my mother as she opens up about what life looks like when the appointment is over, the treatment day has passed, and she still has to keep living, healing, resting, feeling, and finding strength.

I RANG THAT CANCER BELL YESTERDAY! I want to first and foremost thank GOD, my husband LV, my baby boy/man CJ, his fiance Kimaria Pinson and my baby girl Queenasia Taylor for showing up to see me ring that bell. My baby girl got so emotional she could not stop crying. The love came from everywhere.💝 My last chemotherapy session before surgery. I meet with my surgical team on next Wednesday to discuss my options. Then surgery should be set 2 to 3 weeks after the 20th. They like to move pretty fast with no down time. I am fighting " TRIPLE NEGATIVE BREAST CANCER. MY CANCER IS NOT INVASIVE BUT IT IS AGGRESSIVE. Today I have to go to the cancer center in Highpoint to get my 3 week pegfilgrastim-cbqv shot. It basically pulls the good cells out your bones and releases in your body to help build your autoimmune system but it leaves your bones and joints in severe pain. I will also still have to go back every 3 weeks for KEYTRUDA ONLY then after surgery I start my auto immune therapy with will be given to me through the arm intravenously every week. My Doctors told me my treatment will take me through the end of December. I want to continue to that all Clients, family and friends 🧡 for the continued support and love. Its really helping me get through this really hard and tough time. Thankyou! Nina K. Cobb . P.S. I left my belt and my jeans kept sliding normally I'm a 6/7 I'm down to a size 4/5.
