Simple things that could have simple solutions. Much of it is exercising time & patience over feeling the need to control & manage every aspect of a woman’s experience.
Women & babies deserve so much better than what our current system provides. And yet in 2026 we’ve slipped backwards on so many things.
I pray everyday to see improvements. And pray that somehow, in my little corner, I can help improve some things for the families I work with.

I wanted to post this again because 2026 has been filling fast! Just a few weeks ago I had 14 spots left for the rest of the year & now it's only 9! There have been so many repeat clients reaching out, I'm so excited!!!

This morning’s birth was just 🧑‍🍳💋!
Repeat client ✔️
Lightning fast birth ✔️
En caul✔️
Super sweet baby ✔️
I was blessed to work with this family for a second time. This pregnancy was filled with a lot of decisions & just stressful for mama. She knew induction was the right way to go for her baby & it very much worked in her favor. One cytotec & time with a cook’s catheter got her to baby! 45 minutes after I walked in the door! She relaxed in the tub & went from fine to pushing within minutes. And then baby came out in the sac! It was quite the miracle to witness! And am so glad this mama is in the other side of this & able to finally snuggle this super special baby on the outside!

Yesterday I had the honor to support such a sweet family! It was the wildest of 3rd birth wild card births I’ve ever seen! Everything was perplexing & nothing was what it seemed. An Alice in Wonderland-ish birth🤔
But despite all of the curveballs this mama faced she remained strong & endured through prayer & trust in God. It was beautiful to witness her faith!

Yesterday i got to meet a baby that I didn’t expect to see for a few weeks!
I was blessed to support a repeat client. And it almost didn’t happen!
I was there when she had her first baby in a beautiful unmedicated birth. But then they moved & despite their request for me to travel to help support them with their second baby I knew I’d not be able tomake it work. But just a few months ago they reached out to say they were now delivering down here because they needed some specialists. While I wish their circumstances were different, I was over the moon to be able to support them again!
She made quick work of her unmedicated induction. Im so proud of all the sacrifices this mama made to get her baby here safely!

This is important to know. I’ve actually heard that a local hospital is pushing OBs to schedule more inductions bc it’s too hard to staff unmedicated births. That right there should prove to the public that it’s not all about individualized care. You need to ask questions now & be prepared to leave a provider who just does inductions for other reasons than true medical concerns. Your health & your baby’s health depends on it,

Today, about one‑third of U.S. moms are induced — the highest rate ever recorded. Induction is no longer the exception; it’s becoming the default in many hospital systems.This dramatically reshapes the natural timing of birth and the public’s perception of what’s “normal.”
It also explains why so few hospital births go past 40 weeks — policy, not physiology, is driving the curve.
