People say my kid does obstacle courses in OT. I don’t know why. Here we are working on balance(you don’t see it), deep pressure input with strengthening while crawling in tunnel, as well as memory with recall of steps and pieces needed for the final visual perceptual piece of the activity. We give the body input for attention and focus, work on strength, coordination, balance and bilateral skills. Even better, the movement and play keeps engagement high!
