Flu Vaccine Tips

Flu shots are very important for this age group and I highly recommend you get one. High-dose flu vaccines are recommended for people age 65 and older. Also the new injectable "cell-based" flu vaccines produced with novel technologies that don't involve growing the flu virus in chicken eggs — a safe choice for those allergic to eggs.

If you need one of these higher dose safe flu shots, we have them in our clinic in Highland or we are happy to come to your home and get you one if you live in Lake or Porter County.
