Last Thursday we said goodbye to some of our Early Intervention friends!😢🎓
We hosted our summer graduation at Stone Oak Retirement Community and celebrated our littlest Easterseals friends aging out of the Early Intervention program.

Today was the annual Ross County Adult Day Fish Fry!!🐟🍟 Our friends had a SPREAD: fried fish, fried chicken, shoestring fries, waffle cut fries, sweet potato fries, hush puppies, fruit salad, potato salad, cookies, cake, even a cherry pie!🍒🍒🍒

They got to enjoy it all and a BEAUTIFUL day was the cherry on top.🌞 A huge shoutout to our Adult Day staff in Ross county for putting together another top notch event. Everyone is excited for the 2027 edition!🥰

Our Northern Adult Day friends have started a gardening club! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our donors, they had all of the needed supplies to get started right away.🙏

They hope to harvest their vegetables later this summer and have a big salad feast with what they've grown!🍅🥕🌿🥗

It's been two weeks since The 4th Annual Ability and we can proudly say that you, our wonderful donors, helped us raise over $15,000 at this incredible event!🤯🫶💕

We can't THANK YOU enough. You are truly changing lives in your community and we should all be so proud. The night was smooth as could be, with an inspiring and fun performance by our Chance to Dance program💃🕺, beautiful rooftop views of downtown Columbus🌇, an informative video on our Northern Ohio expansion🎥, and so much more.

The Fives provided us with the perfect setting and wonderful food to give you the best kickoff to the Summer we could. Thank you thank you THANK YOU to everyone who donated, attended, and shared our event.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚 Mental Health Awareness has had a huge push in recent years, but Mental Health Awareness Month has actually been observed in the United States since 1949!

The Mental Health America (MHA) theme for 2026 is "More Good Days, Together". This theme emphasizes creating more positive days through community support, meeting people where they are, and fostering personalized mental wellness.

Mental health matters for everyone, but it’s especially important to recognize the experiences of people with disabilities.

Disability and mental health are deeply connected. Awareness is a starting point, but action is what makes a difference.
