Today, we're recognizing Tonya, our incredible Office Manager and Admissions Representative at Scioto Wellness Center!

Tonya stepped into the behavioral health field with no prior experience and has quickly become an essential part of our team. As one of the first friendly faces clients see when they walk through our doors, she helps create a welcoming and supportive environment from day one.

From guiding clients through their first phone call and the admissions process to keeping our center stocked with food and essential supplies, Tonya goes above and beyond to make sure our clients and team have what they need.

She wears many hats, handles countless behind-the-scenes details, and approaches it all with dedication and care.

Scioto Wellness Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our growing behavioral health team in Hilliard, Ohio!

This full-time, in-person position supports individuals receiving treatment for substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and co-occurring conditions.

Position Details:
📍 Hilliard, OH | In-Person
💼 Full-Time | Monday–Friday

In this role, you'll conduct nursing intakes, address client health concerns, coordinate care with our psychiatric nurse practitioner, and facilitate daily nursing education groups. You'll work closely with our clinical team to support client safety, recovery, and continuity of care.

Qualifications include:
• Active Ohio RN license
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Experience in substance use treatment or behavioral health preferred

Therapy isn’t always one-size-fits-all—and treatment doesn’t have to rely on just one approach. 💚

Different therapies can serve different purposes in mental health and addiction treatment. CBT may help identify patterns in thoughts and behaviors. DBT can build skills for managing difficult emotions and situations. Motivational interviewing can help someone explore their own reasons for change, while trauma-informed care emphasizes safety, trust, and choice throughout treatment.

Depending on each person’s needs, goals, and clinical assessment, a treatment plan may incorporate different approaches and settings.
