This Independence Day, all of us at Scioto Wellness Center want to wish our clients, families, referral partners, community, and dedicated staff a safe and meaningful Fourth of July.

The Fourth of July is a time to celebrate freedom, reflect on how far we’ve come, and appreciate the people who stand beside us through life’s challenges. Recovery is its own kind of freedom, and every day we have the privilege of watching individuals take courageous steps toward building a life they never thought was possible.

While many are enjoying time with family and friends today, we also recognize that holidays can be difficult for those struggling with addiction or mental health challenges. If today feels overwhelming, please know you are not alone. There is hope, there is help, and there are people who care.

To our incredible staff, thank you for your compassion, dedication, and willingness to serve others every single day—including holidays. Your commitment makes a difference in the lives of so many.

Three months ago, Scioto Wellness Center opened its doors with a vision of providing quality treatment, supportive services, and hope to individuals and families affected by substance use and mental health challenges.

As we reach our three-month milestone, we want to express our sincere gratitude to our clients, referral partners, staff, and community for the trust and support you've shown us. Because of that support, we've been able to continue growing and expanding our services to meet the needs of those seeking recovery.

Today, we proudly offer both Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) levels of care, along with supportive recovery housing for both men and women. We understand that recovery looks different for everyone, and our goal is to provide a full continuum of care that supports individuals every step of the way.

We are also excited to share that evening treatment services will be coming soon, creating additional opportunities for individuals who need flexible scheduling while balancing work, family, and other responsibilities.

Scioto Wellness Center is in-network with all Ohio Medicaid plans and Medical Mutual, and we continue to work with many commercial insurance providers to help make treatment accessible.

The last three months have reinforced what we already believed: recovery is possible, and lives can change when people are given the support, structure, and opportunity they deserve.

We are currently accepting new admissions daily and have immediate openings available.

If you or a loved one is struggling with substance use or mental health challenges, Scioto Wellness Center has immediate openings available in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP).

We offer a full continuum of care with supportive housing available for males, providing a structured recovery environment with programs ranging from 60 to 90 days. We are also excited to announce that female supportive housing will be coming online this June.

Our team provides transportation to and from treatment, helping remove barriers to care and making recovery more accessible.

Scioto Wellness Center is in-network with Ohio Medicaid and Medical Mutual, and we work with most commercial insurance plans. If you're unsure about coverage, our team can help verify your benefits and discuss available options.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice has protected the freedoms we cherish and strengthened the communities we serve.

As we spend time with family and loved ones, let us also reflect with gratitude and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

Just over a month in, and it’s incredible to look back at what Scioto Wellness Center has already accomplished.

What started as a vision to bring ethical, progressive, and compassionate care to our community is now officially off the ground and helping so many individuals and families in need every single day. Seeing lives begin to change, hope return, and recovery truly take shape has made every long day worth it.

We are beyond grateful for our staff, referral partners, supporters, and clients who believed in what we are building here in Central Ohio. The growth, momentum, and impact in just one month has honestly exceeded expectations — and we’re only getting started.

As we continue to grow, we’ve identified the need to expand our team and are currently looking for additional full-time Behavioral Health Techs for evening/night shift positions. If you are passionate about recovery, mental health, and making a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to connect with you.
