This week, our residents had the opportunity to learn about Days for Girls, an organization providing reusable menstrual products to women and girls around the world so they can stay in school, keep working, and go about their daily lives with confidence. After the presentation, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got to work making products of their own. It was a wonderful afternoon of learning, purpose, and giving back! ❤️

Our community was filled with creativity this week as we hosted an art show featuring the incredible work of our talented residents alongside local artists! 🖼️ 🧑‍🎨

We enjoyed an afternoon of admiring beautiful artwork, connecting with one another, and sipping wine from a local winery while the artists shared the inspiration behind their pieces. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity and the many talents that make our community so special!

Broadway comes to Hillsboro! 🎭

The stage came to us this week as talented students from a local music school filled MorningStar of Hillsboro with the magic of Broadway! From beloved classics to modern favorites, their incredible performances had everyone tapping their toes and singing along.

A heartfelt thank you to these young performers for sharing their talents and bringing so much joy to our community. We loved every minute of this special afternoon! 🌟🎵💙

Creativity has the power to transform more than a space... it brings people together.

Inspired by resident Kathy, our community launched Senior Graffiti, a colorful project that turned a plain chain link fence surrounding an empty lot into a vibrant display of creativity and community spirit. Residents worked together to make the space their own, proving that imagination knows no age.

The project was such a success that it was even featured in a local news publication!

Way to go, Kathy, and thank you to everyone who helped turn an ordinary fence into something extraordinary.

What a fantastic Fourth of July celebration!

Residents gathered for a festive BBQ featuring delicious food, live music, and wonderful company. From sharing a meal with friends to singing along and enjoying the entertainment, it was an afternoon filled with laughter, patriotic spirit, and unforgettable memories.

Friday Social Hour was one for the books!

Residents enjoyed an afternoon of live music from Ali Bean, refreshing drinks, and plenty of friendly competition around the card tables. Whether they were singing along, visiting with friends, or showing off their best card shark skills, everyone had a fantastic time.
