This morning we had the Grand Opening of Black Rabbit Coffee Company’s Hillsboro Health location on the main hospital campus at 1200 E Tremont St in Hillsboro. With a ribbon-cutting and coffee to start our morning, we are excited to welcome them to our hospital. Make sure to stop by and get yourself a sweet treat the next time you visit the hospital. Hours are Monday-Friday from 7 a.m.-6 p.m.🥳☕

Last week we celebrated our Healing You Home Swing Bed Program for a successful year. This past fiscal year, this program has provided care to 124 patients. We celebrated with sweet and savory dips, cookies, punch, pop-its, and memories as we reflected on our success and growth over the past year.🎉

Our last Jr. Board meeting of the summer meant ICE CREAM SUNDAES for all! Pam Dawson provided welcomed treat for the kids for all their help during the Summer Lunch Program -- thank you Pam for the yummy ice cream! The Jr. Board members also learned what it takes to put on a community event from Old Settlers Committee chair Mary Brown. We also surprised Mary by donating back the $250 prize money awarded to Hillsboro Health for our first prize entry in the Old Settlers Parade. We know this money will be put to good use in planning for our town's carnival next year. The kids played games to learned about team work and communication.
