Oregon Department of Education will share information about outcomes for students with disabilities, and families and community members will have the opportunity to share feedback.

Multiple events will take place throughout Oregon in September through November.

Communication can be difficult in an emergency, so it is important that you and your family are able to connect. Sometimes you’ll only be able to text your family, and other times, the only people you can reach are those who are out of state. You will need to be prepared for both situations.
This week, take a few minutes to:
• Designate an out of state contact person and share that number with your household
• Update and share your printed contact list of family and friends.
• Delegate a trusted person to check on your family, pets, and home in an emergency. If you want this person to pick up kids at daycare/school make sure the daycare/school knows.
• Sign up for Public Alerts.org and peruse the website
