Happy Independence Day! ❤️💙🤍 We had a delicious BBQ lunch that we invited our local first responders to. The dining room was a sea of red, white, and blue because so many came dressed in festive spirit! For Crafting Committee this week, our residents constructed patriotic rag garlands that we proudly decorated the front desk with.

☀️ June Recap ☀️

The start of the summer brought so many new memories and adventures with our beloved residents.

For June outings and events:

June 12 - We took a big trip to Newport to visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium and had a peaceful picnic outside. 🌊

June 18 - We found prime seating at Shute Park while enjoying music from an Eagles Tribute Band! With a gorgeous sunset and good company, our residents were practically glowing with joy. 🎶

June 19 - Father's Day Rodeo! 🐴 We had a mouthwatering BBQ menu complete with a photo op area including cowboy hats, bandanas, and a wanted poster for the outlaws, and a shooting game outside with bounties and "TNT" as prizes.

June 25 - Annual Rosarian Coronation. Our winners this year were the lovely Judy Caputo, Roger Ensrud, Diane Wade, and Terry Morrill! The celebration was absolutely beautiful. Everyone in the room—residents, families, friends, and staff alike—could feel the love and support from every direction towards our 4 amazing Rose Queens and Ambassadors. The event was complete with a crowning, rose planting and watering in our courtyard, and a reception with tiramisu, champagne and cider, and elegant piano playing by Linda Smith. Included in this album are some adorable photos of our residents!

This month saw many fun art projects for Color Time, Cooking and Crafting Committee!

February is American Heart Month! To commemorate, our very own Sales' Director Amy has put together an expert panel to discuss the different ways one can maintain a good and healthy heart. "Love Your Heart", joined by guest speakers Helen Anderson and Oceana Berry, this panel will cover a multitude of topics. Residents, family, friends, and all members of the local community are invited and encouraged to attend. Event is February 18th at 2PM in our Party Room!
