From heart attack to comeback 💪

Today, we were honored to have Hillsboro Medical Center patient Vincent Rubeo (second from right) throw out the first pitch at the Hillsboro Hops. ⚾

Last July, he came to our Emergency Room with chest and arm pain. Our cardiovascular team rushed him into emergency surgery. 🏥

Less than a year later, he’s fully recovered (and throwing a fierce fastball)! 💨

Healthy Hillsboro Day at the Hillsboro Hops is off to a sweet start as we celebrate 40 years of our mobile mammography program! 🎊

For four decades, we’ve provided convenient mammogram access to communities all across Oregon. 🚐 🩷

To celebrate how this special program has made preventative health a piece of cake for so many, we’re serving up birthday cake to Hops fans while supplies last! 🎂

Last month, Juliette Bauer, D.N.P., RN, a nursing practice leader at Hillsboro Medical Center, brought her voice to Capitol Hill to advocate for nurses and patients across Oregon and the nation. 🇺🇸

As part of the AWHONN - The Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses Advocacy Day, Dr. Bauer met with members of both the U.S. House and Senate to champion two priorities:
