S'mores Cups brought a crowd to cooking Chaos!!

We layered crushed graham crackers in between two different chocolate pudding layers and then topped it with whipped cream, a handful of mini marshmallows, and a garnish of chocolate and graham cracker - each layer making us drool more than the last!

Getting older isn’t always easy.

There is a kind of resilience and perseverance that comes with aging that I don’t think we talk about enough. The determination to keep doing the things you love—even when your body doesn’t work quite the way it used to.

Like playing cards… with a *lit magnifying glass.* 😂❤️ Ahem...Janine

You adapt. You find a way. You laugh and you keep showing up!

You do it with aching joints, tired bodies, changing eyesight, and a whole list of things that might make someone else want to throw in the towel.

And somehow… you still do it with a smile. I’m impressed by you every single day.

You remind me that growing older isn’t about giving up the things that bring you joy. It’s about finding new ways to keep doing them.

Rosewood Park was honored to attend the 2026 AAPI Health & Wellness Fair! 🌸

A huge thank you to the FAAPVI-Filipino American Association of Portland & Vicinity, Inc. for hosting such a wonderful event, and to Legacy Health for providing an incredible location and bringing together so many valuable resources and educational presentations.

It was such an informative and meaningful event, and we were grateful for the opportunity to connect with so many wonderful people and organizations in our community. We look forward to continuing to build these connections and being involved in future community events! 💙

Brooke and Minoo and Susan enjoyed dancing to the music of our Luau!!

Minoo is a dancer at heart - when she hears music, she can't help but start moving her body. We love having her live here with us!

We had such a beautiful time eating yummy hawaiian food, listening to hawaiian music, and enjoyed the beautiful decor that transported us to the islands!!! More photos to come!

Say hello to Ida - she is so cool.

She is always dressed in matching sets and cool patterns. She and I stop to compliment one another's outfit choices on her trip to the lunchroom....and today she really liked my glasses.

She asked to try them on and of course, I said yes! then I had to snap a picture and show her that she can pull it off too....🥰

🌊☀️ A perfect summer day in Seaside!☀️🌊

Last week we packed up the bus and headed to the Oregon Coast for a day full of sunshine, salty air, and wonderful memories together.

We spent a couple of hours strolling the Seaside Promenade, watching the waves roll in, people-watching, and soaking up every bit of that beautiful ocean breeze. A few of our adventurers couldn't resist treating themselves to classic beach favorites like salt water taffy, caramel corn, and giant elephant ears, while others were perfectly content finding a bench, listening to the waves, and taking in the view.

After our time at the beach, we made our way to Camp 18, where we enjoyed a delicious lunch surrounded by the rustic charm of the Pacific Northwest. There was plenty of laughter, great conversation, and full bellies before we climbed back on the bus for the ride home.

Days like these remind us that adventure doesn't have an age limit. Sometimes all you need is good friends, a little sunshine, and the sound of the ocean to make a day unforgettable. ❤️

Our 'Wild Men & Life Lessons Gentlemen's Breakfast' was one for the books! 🥓☕🦅

Fifteen of our gentlemen gathered around the table this morning, and what started as breakfast quickly became an incredible conversation. We laughed, shared stories, and learned from some remarkable men in history—and from the remarkable men sitting right in front of us.

We tested our knowledge with "Guess the Wild Man," featuring men like Abraham Lincoln, who reminded us that "character is built during difficult seasons", and Jackie Robinson, whose courage taught us that "true strength is staying dignified when others don't."
But the best part wasn't getting the answers right—it was hearing our residents share their own life lessons. Stories of hard work, military service, raising families, overcoming challenges, and the wisdom that only comes from a life well lived filled the room.
Today reminded us that history isn't just found in books. It's sitting around our breakfast table every morning.

Thank you to each gentleman who joined us and made this such a meaningful morning. Your stories matter, and we are honored to hear them. ❤️
