💊 New CPPI study: U.S. prescription drug prices remain far higher than Canadian pharmacy prices.

Our August 2026 Benchmark Prescription Drug Price Study found that Americans could save an average of 65% on 10 commonly prescribed brand-name medications by purchasing from licensed Canadian pharmacies.

Even more striking: several U.S. drug prices increased substantially since our March study, while Canadian prices remained largely stable.

For example:
• Rybelsus savings increased to 74%
• Xifaxan savings increased to 79%

Some concerning survey results: 33% of Americans are cutting back on necessities to afford healthcare; poll: https://tinyurl.com/Cut-Back.

These people are stretching out their current prescription medications (this is dangerous!), borrowing money, skipping meals, driving less, and reducing utility use, according to this West Health-Gallup Center on Healthcare in America poll.

Recent updates show tariffs on personal prescription medicines imported from Canada have dropped significantly - from 35% to 10% - following a U.S. Supreme Court decision. While some uncertainty remains, this shift could equal meaningful savings for consumers.

At the same time, CPPI’s latest study found that Americans can save between 52% and 89% on brand-name medications by using licensed Canadian online pharmacies versus U.S. Rx retailers. The average price savings exceeded 64%.
