We are beyond proud to announce that MyKayla and Rachelle passed their state exams and are now Certified Nursing Assistants!

All thier hard work, late-night studying, and dedication have truly paid off. We are so lucky to have them on our team and can't wait to see all the wonderful things they will continue to do for our residents.

Workin At The Car Wash! Last Friday HCMCF residents (and staff) enjoyed our first ever wheel chair Car Wash. Residents were invited to participate or could cheer their friends on while enjoying a root beer float. Car Wash music played as they entered the bubble wash. The Life Enrichment gals scrubbed their wheels, and pushed them along through the rinse rainbow. Then the “cars” rolled on in to the blow dry and fluff area. Of course we washed their windshields “glasses” too. Several residents made a deal with staff members to follow each other through and we’re not sure who had more fun! A special thanks to Terry our Administrator, the Maintenance men and the Life Enrichment ladies for being such great sports and joining the fun. ☀️ Summer vibes are in full swing at HCMCF! ☀️Here is a look at what we've been up to:🎣 Reeling 'Em In: We had a blast at Catfish Acres in Litchfield! There were giant catches, plenty of smiles, and maybe a few exaggerated fish stories.🧺 Picnics: Over 50 residents headed to Baw Beese Lake for some sunshine & great food. Some neighborhoods picked pizza, others chose chicken, and everyone enjoyed the laughter, trivia, and music.🎄 Christmas in July: We beat the heat with holiday crafts and a morning of Christmas carol sing-alongs.🐾 Furry Visitors: A Big thanks to the Hillsdale County Humane Society for the wonderful pet visits - one of our very favorite activities.🍹 Patio Living: We're staying cool with cold drinks, music, trivia, and awesome games (donated by Dupont) out on the patio.👀 Coming Soon: We have a fun "car wash" set for our next Birthday Bash and outings to Lowry's Little Flock Farm. Today we celebrated our annual picnic and Carnival for our residents, staff and all families. It was wonderful to see everyone, and we grilled almost 500 hotdogs! The kids enjoyed the inflatables, pets, games, goodie bags, prizes and face painting. We all tried to beat the heat with lots of ice cream and snow cones! Thanks so much to all who helped make it happen. Our team rocks!
