Therapy Intensives: Amazing for people who are already in therapy and want to add this to augment their work. At a follow-up call, I was told to advertise to folks already in outpatient therapy because the work that was done needed to be done in isolation from the real world and with the ability to stay in the depth of the work for the time needed rather than having to adhere to session timeframes. I wanted to share a couple of updates with you regarding the offerings at SoulTending Services. I am now licensed in Florida to provide telehealth counseling services. That means I can now see clients for therapy in Texas, Georgia, Hawaii, and Florida. I still offer transition, couple/family, and parent coaching in all 50 states. In case you haven't asked recently, yes, there is a big difference in what is delivered when I am enlisted as a therapist vs. a coach. I am happy to talk about this in more detail if you are curious.

In addition to the new FL licensure, the in-person intensives that I am running in Hawaii have taken off! This is 3 nine-hour days of therapeutic interventions with me on the Big Island. The agenda is customizable, but includes sandplay sessions, EMDR or Brainspotting, inner child work and attachment work that is rooted in depth psychology. Intensives are scheduled individually to meet the needs of my and the client's schedule.

Due to a recent need and lack of other/alternative resources, I did an in-home parenting intensive for a client whose child is neurodivergent to assess, teach skills, and attend school meetings as an advocate. I had no idea how this endeavor would ultimately turn out and if I would even like it. Turns out it was a great experience for me and for the client. I am open to doing more of these in future if there is a need. Just like with my in-person intensives, the intensive lasted 3 days. Unlike an in-person intensive, I was immersed in the family life for those three days in order to have the best assessment and interventions possible. This is fully customizable as well and does not need to be 3 days; however, given that I am flying from Hawaii, this is better bang for the buck.
