Traffic alert: The 2026 Special Olympics Vermont Law Enforcement Torch Run will take place in Hinesburg this Thursday, June 4, starting at 1:00 pm. Runners will be running from Hinesburg Community School to CVU High School, along Vermont Route 116, and onto CVU Road. This run will be escorted by police cars and may slow traffic at times. Motorists should expect minor delays, use caution in the area, and follow the directions of officers and event personnel.

Thank you for your patience and support as we participate in this important community event and help carry the Flame of Hope for Vermont's Special Olympics athletes.
