1. We grow American elderberries--better than the Black Elderberry from Europe because a U. of Missouri study shows American Elderberries have more of the good stuff. 2. When we harvest the crop, we de-stem the elderberries and pick out the mildly toxic, and taste tainting green berries, which others leave in their products. Its why our elderberry w**e and elderberry elixir taste so good. 3. Uncut with water. One online seller changed her daily dose from 1 tablespoon to 2 and cut her price in half by adding tap water to "Boost" the profit (plus, they are guilty of #4.) 4. Not dried elderberries. Some sellers simmer dried elderberries they bought in a pot of tap water winning the top spot for worst elderberry syrup. We use a hydraulic cold press similar to what is used to press olive oil but we press elderberries creating a concentrated nectar that works! 5.
