20 years ago I was sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley Field when I got a phone call asking me to come and run a fertility office at 121 North Elm Street in Hinsdale. Never in a million years would I have expected to have been lucky enough to have the best job in the world. The hardest job, the best job, but yet it never felt like a 'job' to me.
Sometimes it was 7 days a week, sometimes it was 5:00 a.m. if someone needed a blood draw in order to get to work on time or sometimes it was at 10:00 p.m. if someone forgot they ran out of medication. Sometimes it was a holiday, sometimes it was a weekend, sometimes it was the middle of the night, sometimes it was while I was sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley Field. (Yes, I answered many voicemails, text messages and emails while sitting there!) It never mattered to me because I knew I was the lucky one to be a part of so many incredible journeys at 121 North Elm Street.
I can't even imagine how many cars have driven past 121 North Elm Street over the years not even knowing the magic that was happening inside. So many miracles were created here.
I'm sad that 121 North Elm Street will no longer be my home, but next to my nephews, it will hold the biggest place in my heart. Let's flood this page on its last day with pictures of all of the 121 North Elm Street miracles!

Rinehart Fertility Center is excited to announce
that we are joining
RUSH University Medical Center
1620 W. Harrison St., Chicago, IL 60612


Effective April 3, 2023, Dr. Rinehart and staff will be part of RUSH University Medical Center.

What this means to you:

Dr. Rinehart will continue to provide services and cycle management as always. He will travel between three different offices to provide increased scheduling flexibility. Consultations will continue via telemedicine.

The staff (Victoria, Deb, Laura, Rachel and Karyna) will continue to communicate and assist with treatment care. Victoria and Deb will continue with scheduling and insurance verification duties. Laura, Rachel and Karyna will be providing clinical services like blood draws, phone triage, cycle coordination, prescription prior authorization and office visit chaperoning, as well as other clinical services as needed. They will also be present for your egg retrievals and embryo transfers to assist Dr. Rinehart during these procedures.

The Andrology & IVF Laboratories, where semen analysis/freezing, egg retrievals and embryo transfers occur, has moved to the RUSH campus in Chicago. The address for these services is 1725 N. Harrison St., Chicago, IL 60612.

Office monitoring for blood and ultrasounds will continue at the Oak Lawn office (4400 West 95th St., Suite #303).

The Hinsdale office location at 121 N. Elm St. will be moving shortly. At this time, there is no confirmed new location but it will remain in the Hinsdale/Oak Brook area.

There will shortly be an additional office on the campus of RUSH University Medical Center for monitoring and diagnostic testing.

Billing services will be processed through the RUSH billing system. As part of these changes, Healthlab, which is used to process all of your bloodwork, will bill you or your insurance, as applicable directly.

While there are still some details to be finalized, we are looking forward to this new collaboration. We will provide updates as they become available.
