Blaze is a 10 year old 42.5 inches at his withers pony. He is sweet and gentle. From what we can tell he was hauled up from Texas on a trailer full of very beat up looking equines and sold at auction in Ohio where we purchased him. The “cowboy” said he bought him off some hispanic kid. Thats a quote. He is a bit hard to catch until he gets to know you. My daughter can catch him though. When cornered he may freeze and shake leading me to believe someone beat him. He was sold as anyone can ride. He is not broke to steer as far as we can tell but does lead line well. He can be broke to rein and we have had bridle and bit on him but from there he does not understand the reining part. He does do leg cues. He has been 100% sound and shows no signs of lameness, founder or laminitis. He has been vet checked by Cleveland Equine and had vaccines, coggins, and his teeth floated. He does not crib, bite, or have any vices other than being hard to catch. He stands great for the farrier and lifts his feet nicely. He is calm and sweet with kids. He also loads easily into out trailer and can be delivered for a fee. His adoption fee is $1500 and will include a small kids pony saddle, girth, pad, his halters, and new bridle and bit and reins. He is located in Hiram Ohio. He is low on pecking order and gets along great with our current herd of 4 other equines. He was shown at Trumbull Fair for 2026 by both Rayna and Ryker and did well for them. I had a home for him but she backed out after 5 weeks for financial reasons. He has one blue eye and one brown eye. I want to find him an amazing forever home that will never hit him, take proper care of him and NEVER sell him at an auction.
