Aftercare is just as important as the treatment itself and I say this to every single client before they leave the chair. So here is your full post-appointment guide, from your injector directly 💛

For the first 24-48 hours:

💛 Keep your head upright — no lying flat for at least 4 hours after your session
💛 Use a cold compress gently if you have swelling or bruising (cloth over ice, 10 min on, 10 off — never direct ice to skin)
💛 Drink plenty of water and let your body heal naturally
💛 Sleep on your back the first night if you can, and keep your head slightly elevated

What to avoid — and I mean it:

🚫 No strenuous exercise or intense heat for 24-48 hours (sweating increases swelling and bruising)
🚫 No alcohol for 24 hours — it thins the blood
🚫 No facials, chemical peels, or laser treatments for at least 2 weeks
🚫 Do not massage or press on treated areas
🚫 Avoid direct sun exposure, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours

Some swelling and light bruising is completely normal. It is not a sign that something went wrong. Your full results show at the 2-week mark when everything has settled beautifully.
