🐹 Each resident took turns getting to hold each one of these little cuties. There were Pomeranians, a guinea pig, and 2 rabbits. We can't wait for our next visit! 🐇

National Bingo Day 🔢🖊️🔴

It's the day that our residents have been anticipating for a month at Life Care Center of Hixson! 😁 We celebrated National Bingo Day by playing different categories of bingo, M&M, Shady, and Big Prize Bingo games. For Shady Bingo, each resident and family member got a pair of shades to wear while playing bingo. In M&M Bingo, everyone got a bag of M&Ms. Big Prize Bingo offered big prizes like numerous Bluetooth speakers and other electronic accessories, and lots of bags of M&Ms. Residents also enjoyed learning about the history behind the National Bingo Day. 👍

We had a great turn-out for our Father's Day Celebration in the dining room on Sunday! 💙 Everyone enjoyed root beer floats, cake, Pringles, participating in a T-shirt drawing, and wearing mustaches. Happy Father's Day to all our dads, grandfathers, and father figures. 😊

🎉 We celebrated Certified Nursing Assistant Week here at Life Care Center of Hixson. 👏

Dietary cooked our wonderful CNAs a large breakfast, and on Thursday, they were treated to a meal from Salsarita's Fresh Mexican Grill 🌮 and homemade cinnamon rolls made by one of the nursing staff. 😋

We recognize all the hard work CNAs do daily. We have some awesome aides here at our facility. Thank you for all you do throughout the year! 🫶
