A patient was calling around for prices on a CT scan.

She had already been quoted $2,000 by another private imaging center. Not a hospital. An outpatient imaging center.

👋 Meet Sara, our Imaging Center Manager and experienced CT technologist!

Originally from Warner Robins, Georgia, Sara earned her degree in Radiologic Technology from Central Georgia Technical College. She later moved to Chattanooga to pursue advanced training in Computed Tomography, earning her CT certification from Chattanooga State Community College.

With experience in both outpatient and hospital imaging, Sara now leads our imaging center while remaining focused on what matters most: high-quality imaging and compassionate patient care. She works to ensure every patient feels informed, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit.

Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her husband and son, trying new recipes, attending live music events, reading, embroidering, and hiking to waterfalls.

A patient called us today after her outpatient imaging study was canceled.

Her words were: “I’m getting the runaround with the hospital.”

She needed multiple studies done, including several ultrasound exams and an X-ray. Four separate imaging studies total.

When we gave her our cash price, she told us it was well below what she had been quoted using her insurance.

Over the weekend, a patient reached out saying that he had been quoted more than $2,000 out in town for a scan, even using his insurance.

The price here for that same type of scan?

$475.

The patient asked how much it would cost because she was uninsured and needed to prepare. She said she might have to save up for it and delay the scan until she could afford it.
