There's a lot that goes into a day at a fertility clinic. Appointments, questions, unexpected changes, and sometimes some pretty big emotions. Through it all, our MAs are there, caring for patients, helping our nurses and doctors, and looking out for one another.

Some days are hectic. Some are joyful. Some are hard. And through all of them, our MAs bring their own unique personalities, skills, and kindness to the work they do.

We have a new embryologist to introduce at InVia Fertility - and after reading her answers to our team questionnaire, we knew we had to share some of them.

She actually started out planning to become a high school science teacher. COVID changed those plans, and her path eventually took her into microbiology, where she discovered how much she loved being in the lab AND being able to help people.

That combination led her to embryology and, lucky for us, to InVia Fertility.

She joins our InVia physicians, embryologists, nurses and staff in caring for people who are working to build their families.

And when she’s not in the lab? She makes stuffed animals by hand, is learning 3D design and sculpting, plays video games and is currently working on a 3D-printable Cryolock pen. She’d also like to make oocyte and blastocyst fidget toys - which may be one of our favorite answers ever to this questionnaire.

She describes herself as an open book who will happily talk endlessly about the things she loves.

We’re looking forward to hearing a lot more. 💚

Happy Medical Ultrasound Awareness Month! 💚

Every follicle check, every early scan, every quiet moment of “there it is” - our six ultrasound techs at InVia Fertility are right there beside our patients for so many of the big steps on their fertility journey. Their steady hands, kind words, and calm presence turn nerve-wracking appointments into moments of reassurance and hope.

So this month, we wanted to show them just how much they mean to us. We put together individual ultrasound-themed goodie bags and surprised the team with ultrasound socks, name badge holders, probe appreciation pins, and of course, candy! 🍬

To our incredible ultrasound team: thank you. Thank you for the skill, patience, and gentleness you bring to every single scan, for the extra moments you take to answer questions, and for the care you show every patient who walks through our doors. We are so lucky to have you, and so are our patients 💚

Sometimes a little humor can help us talk about something that's not always easy. 💕

InVia Fertility's Dr. Elizabeth Puscheck brings her wonderful personality (and some pretty expressive reactions!) to an important conversation: When is it time to see a fertility specialist?

If you're 35 or older and have been trying to conceive for six months without success, it's a good time to reach out. If you're over 40 or have known fertility concerns, consider connecting sooner.

We know that every month of trying can bring its own mix of hope, anticipation, and questions. And every fertility journey is different.

Take a moment and ask: How am I feeling today?

Hopeful? Anxious? Angry? Peaceful? Exhausted? Excited? Sad? Maybe you can’t quite name it yet.

Whatever comes up, try noticing it without immediately trying to change it.

Naming how you feel can be a small but meaningful act of self-care.
