Early bird pricing for Neurokind Social Club ends TOMORROW! 🎉

Claire and I created this group for neurodivergent middle schoolers who want connection without the pressure to perform socially.

There’s no obligation to jump into every activity or conversation. Kids can participate in their own way, hang back and observe, take breaks, or join in when they’re ready.

Over the six weeks, we’ll talk about things like understanding how their brains work, recognizing and supporting their sensory and energy needs, and building real self-advocacy skills. But just as importantly, they’ll get to spend time with other kids their age who may experience the world a lot like they do.

No masking. No forcing participation. No practicing how to look more “social.”

Just a small, low-pressure group where kids can show up as themselves. 💛

Early bird: $295 through October 6
Registration closes October 13.

A little hello from Heyday 💛

We’re a pediatric speech and language therapy practice in Holladay, Utah, where therapy looks a lot like play, connection, curiosity, and following a child’s lead.

We support kids with early language, speech sound development, and autistic communication, but we care just as much about making sure kids feel comfortable being themselves while they’re here.

If you’re new to our page, we’re glad you found us. Come hang out for a while. 🌿

A few months ago, a kid in Neurokind Club whispered something to me I still think about: "They're just like me?" That's the whole reason this program exists, and it's why I'm bringing it back!

Neurokind Social Club is the same idea, but built for a different age. This round is for 8th graders, ages 12-13, and I'm co-facilitating with my friend Claire Flatley, LCSW and licensed play therapist at Flatley Play Therapy. Middle school is when masking gets heavier and the pressure to perform "normal" ramps up fast. This group gives your kid six weeks in a room where that pressure doesn't exist.

We start Friday, October 16 at 3pm and run six weeks through November 20. Small group, 6-8 kids, so it stays personal.

Early bird is $295 through October 6. Regular price is $315 after that, and registration closes October 13.

I want to interrupt your morning coffee for a second.

👉 More therapy isn’t automatically better therapy. A child who’s regulated for twenty minutes of connected, child-led play is getting more out of that than three hours of drilled, compliance-based sessions where their nervous system never settles enough to actually learn anything.

🛑 I’ve watched families burn out (parents and kids both) chasing hours instead of asking whether the hours were doing anything beneficial.

🤘🏼It’s okay to ask your provider what a session is actually working on and why.
🤘🏼It’s okay to say this isn’t a fit and mean it.

Your kid doesn’t need more of everything. He needs the right things, delivered in a way his nervous system can actually receive.

☀️You’re allowed to be the one who decides what’s enough.
