Did you know? Skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes are not quite the same.

Skilled nursing provides physician-directed medical care and rehabilitation after an illness, injury, or surgery. Nursing homes primarily provide ongoing help with daily living.

Skilled nursing stays are often short-term and recovery-focused (though can be ongoing to treat chronic conditions,) while nursing home care is usually long-term.

The fun continues this week at MediLodge of Holland! 🌷💙

From “Moments in Bloom” to celebrating Nurses Week, our residents, staff, guests, and families have been coming together for a week full of joy, appreciation, and connection. ✨

We’ve enjoyed a hot dog bar, yummy soft pretzels, lemonade, and so many wonderful moments shared together! 🌭🥨🍋

The celebration isn’t over yet—come join us as we continue honoring our amazing nurses and the incredible community that makes MediLodge of Holland so special. 💐

We had such a wonderful time participating in the Tulip Time Parade! 🌷 It was so great seeing everyone out waving and showing so much support from our Holland community.

One of the highlights was hearing all the cheering and applause for our Veterans who joined us in the parade. ❤️🇺🇸 We were truly honored to have them participate with us.
