The horse that inspired me into this field and stood by my side through the ups and downs and highs and lows and is the centerpiece of my logo….has passed away. I have been quiet for a while. There are many reasons. But losing him has motivated me more than ever to continue what he and I started. More to come on that but here’s to General…my partner of the last 23 years. 🐴💙🪶

They don’t disappear…
They simply walk a little ahead of us.

Along that golden path, through the clouds, to a place where there is no pain, no fear, no loneliness.
Every step they take carries memories of our embraces, early morning rides, and those quiet conversations without words.

Look at the horse turning back…
As if to say:
“I remember you. And I will wait.”

They say the souls of horses have wings made of light.
And when the sunset sky turns golden, it’s them — running free across heavenly meadows, strong, untamed, and at peace.

They take a piece of our hearts with them.
And leave us the strength to love again.

And one day…
we will hear the familiar sound of hooves once more. ✨🐎

“But I’m fine…”

How many of us have said that?

Fine. Managing. Coping. Just tired. Just stressed. Just busy.

Meanwhile the words underneath tell a different story.

Broken.
Exhausted.
Ashamed.
Alone.
Not enough.

Sometimes “I’m fine” is protection.

It’s the mask. The armour. The socially acceptable answer.

Because saying, “I’m struggling.” “I’m not okay.” “I don’t know how to cope.” feels terrifying.

We live in a world that praises resilience but doesn’t always make space for vulnerability.

So we swallow it. We minimise it. We joke about it. We carry it quietly.

But here’s the truth:

You are not weak for struggling. You are not dramatic for feeling. You are not attention-seeking for needing support. You are not broken beyond repair.

And you are not the words that were thrown at you.

“I’m fine” might have kept you safe once.

But you deserve spaces where you don’t have to be fine.

Where you can say, “This is heavy.” “This hurts.” “I need help.”

And someone answers with, “I’m here.”

If this image feels close to home — please don’t carry it alone.

Reach out. To a friend. To a professional. To someone safe.

You are allowed support. You are allowed softness. You are allowed to not be fine.

And still be worthy.
