San Benito Health Foundation The Foundation offers Medical, Dental, Vision, Comprehensive Perinatal Service Program (WIC) SBHF is governed by a community-based Board of Directors.

San Benito Health Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) 330 HRSA Grantee with Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) status. Established in 1975, SBHF was created to fulfill the healthcare needs of community in the San Benito County area. Our center has been developed in accordance with standards established for safety net providers by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the

Health Resources Services Administration (HRSA), the Public Health Service (PHS), and the Bureau of Primary Health Care (BPHC). These individuals live within the community and represent local business, government, civic and community organizations. The health care employ's professionally trained staff in a multi disciplinary community health center setting. The main facility is located at 351 Felice Dr Hollister, CA 95023. SBHF has a satellite clinic located at San Juan Bautista, CA 95045, and a mobile health center. The Centers provide Medical, Dental, Woman Infant and Children (WIC Program) and other multi-disciplinary services. The mobile health care engages in educational outreach, screening and service health care delivery activities throughout the San Benito County to serve as a venue for health care entry and early access to care for the community.

As a thriving community health center, SBHF is hosting two free events to support our local families...Our Breastfeeding Awareness Walk on August 5th at 10am and our annual Feeding the Frontline food distribution on August 6th from 3-6pm. We hope to see you there!
Como un centro de salud comunitario en pleno auge, SBHF organiza dos eventos gratuitos para apoyar a las familias de nuestra localidad: la Caminata de Concientización sobre la Lactancia Materna, el 5 de agosto a las 10:00 a. m., y nuestro evento anual de distribución de alimentos «Feeding the Frontline», el 6 de agosto de 3:00 p. m. a 6:00 p. m. ¡Esperamos verlos allí!

Today marks the beginning of this year’s National Breastfeeding Month with the theme: RISE: Resilience, Interdependence, Self-Determination, Empowerment. The U.S. Breastfeeding Committee created the theme to capture the heart and strength of the First Food field. Each word in the acronym was chosen to highlight our network's strengths as we advocate for the policy, systems, and environmental changes necessary to create a landscape of breastfeeding support for every family.

We will be celebrating National Breastfeeding Month with a fun walk and health fair on 8-5-26 and all participants will receive a free t-shirt.

SBHF provides breastfeeding counseling and resources along with WIC to support the families of our community. Call (831) 637-5306 for more information.

Hoy comienza el Mes Nacional de la Lactancia Materna de este año bajo el lema: RISE (que significa "ascender" o "levantarse"): Resiliencia, Interdependencia, Autodeterminación y Empoderamiento. El Comité de Lactancia Materna de los Estados Unidos (U.S. Breastfeeding Committee) creó este lema para reflejar la esencia y la fortaleza del ámbito de la lactancia materna (considerada el "primer alimento"). Cada palabra del acrónimo fue elegida para resaltar las fortalezas de nuestra red mientras abogamos por los cambios en políticas, sistemas y entornos necesarios para crear un ambiente de apoyo a la lactancia materna para todas las familias.
Celebraremos el Mes Nacional de la Lactancia Materna con una caminata recreativa y una feria de salud el 5 de agosto de 2026; todos los participantes recibirán una camiseta gratuita.

Our Breastfeeding Awareness Walk is a week away!
All participants will be given a t-shirt and there will be a free health resource fair following the walk with various exhibitors from community organizations. Please arrive by 9:30am at 351 Felice Drive in Hollister. We hope to see you there!
