Tube Feeding Moms: A Place to Connect & Support
Hi everyone! My name is Jill Odle, and I’m the owner of Holly Springs Feeding & Speech. I recently moved into a new location with a much larger space, and I’ve been thinking about ways I can use that space to support families in our community.
One idea I’m considering is starting a free support group for moms of children who are on feeding tubes.
This would NOT be a clinical group, a place to exchange medical advice, or an opportunity for me to look for new patients. My vision is simply to create a space where moms can come together, meet other moms who truly understand what they’re going through, and talk about the emotional and practical realities of having a child who is tube-fed.
The group would be:
Moms supporting moms
A place to share experiences, challenges, and things that have helped your own family
A welcoming, judgment-free environment
A place to talk about the highs, lows, frustrations, and victories that come with tube feeding
No medical advice or clinical recommendations—just personal experiences and support, with the understanding that every child is different
No cost to attend
I’m thinking the group would meet at my office in Holly Springs approximately once every six weeks.
Before I put everything together, I’d love to know if there is actually an interest in something like this.

Position Overview
The Speech-Language Pathologist will provide evaluation and treatment services for children with speech, language, articulation, apraxia, feeding, and early intervention needs. Caseload may include both in-office appointments and occasional home visits based on client location and therapist preference.
We are seeking a therapist who is compassionate, motivated, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with families and staff to support each child’s success.

Key Responsibilities
Speech & Language Therapy
• Evaluate and treat pediatric speech and language disorders
• Provide therapy for articulation, apraxia, and early intervention needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child
Feeding Therapy
• Assess and treat pediatric feeding challenges and oral dysphagia
• Support children experiencing:
o Limited food repertoires
o Difficulty transitioning to age-appropriate foods
o Feeding delays and oral-motor concerns
• Experience with pediatric feeding is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate
Communication & Collaboration
• Maintain excellent verbal and written communication with families and staff
• Document treatment progress and recommendations accurately
• Collaborate with caregivers to support carryover at home

Qualifications
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina
• ASHA certification preferred (CFY supervision available)
• Pediatric experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage scheduling needs
• Afternoon appointment availability required
